BLUSH PINK, oh how you speak to me like no other color. You are happy. You are just the most perfect color in the whole wide world. You make me giddy, smiley, and want to paint a whole room in your beautiful tones. You make my heart pitter-patter…just a bit. No doubt, you were my first choice for bridesmaid’s dresses because you are perfect in every way. Show me a pair of pants in this beautiful color and those babies are coming home with me! Make them high-waisted and I might have to buy two of you!

Mix it with this yummy YSL lipstick and you might just have to peel these suckers off of me because I-don’t-wanna-take-them-off! Pink pants you will sit nicely hung in my closet, until we meet again.

There is nothing I love more than a girlie bridal shower! I mean, seriously, it’s one of the only events where pink is fully embraced, mini desserts are ooh’d and ahhh’d over, and girlie the dress the better! A few weeks ago, my family hosted a bridal shower for a soon-to-be-bride and my future sister-in-law, Corynne. Here is just one of the fabulous details that we put together and stay tuned for more pink cakes, mini dessert cups, fun dresses, and champagne! Yesterday, we got the great news – our wedding was published in “Our Wedding” magazine!

Ryan and I were contacted about this several months ago and we were so happy about the possibility of being in a magazine, but I wasn’t sure if we were “good enough” to make the final cut! So, after several scheduling conflicts, we finalized a time to be interviewed by Marie Rood. Back in February, over Saturday morning coffee, we had our telephonic interview with Ms. Rood. We chatted with her for over an hour, which was actually a lot of fun to relive the day again and hear Ryan’s take on things! Due to the long interview, and my tenancy to tell all, I was pretty nervous about what she would actually write up! Ms. Rood and the magazine did an amazing job and we have our photographer, Lyndsay Undseth, to thank for making this happen!
